Every employee has some basic rights that exist to protect their health and safety – employers must comply with these legal regulations in order to support their workers in a variety of office and industrial settings. Different countries will have different rules and standards. Some third-world countries may have very poor health and safety records and regulations, and employees may be put at risk on a regular basis, with sometimes-tragic results.
